Hardwood-Stix is a small family owned company, founded by two brothers, based in the beautiful western mountains of Maine, a place where life is a bit simpler and tends to flow at a slower pace. Here at Hardwood-Stix we have a staff that has over 60 years of experience in the wood industry. We want to bring that knowledge and experience to you, our customers. We specialize in wooden products such as wood dowels, wood crafts and of course wooden food products such as popsicle sticks, apple sticks & honey dippers. Wood is a way of life around here and we're proud to be a part of that life.
We also know what people are looking for in a shop, because it's the same thing we're looking for. How many times have you gone into a big box store, looking for an item and you're bounced around from person to person, none of which know anything about the product, only to find they don't have it? Or they find you the wrong item? We understand. We've been through it ourselves. That's why Outstanding service is another one of our core principles, it's why we offer the ability for you to speak to actual people, not recordings.
In addition we strive to provide a quality product to our customers, as such we work with the best possible mills both in the USA and abroad*. Many of which we have been working with for decades, knowing the producers means you know the product. It is something that matters to us! We want, in all things, to bring a “Mom & Pop” feel to what we do all while offering the best possible prices, service and quality.
